This past weekend was Easter weekend. The thought that came to my mind was this idea of renewal, specifically when the season transition from winter to spring. We commemorate these changes through welcoming warmer weather with excitement, decluttering our spaces, planting, and Easter. It dawned on me that the same practices we use to commemorate renewal, we can also honor these practices in our own lives. This can look like dedicating a prayer to yourself with the intention of releasing what no longer serves to make space for renewal. Imagination is also a great tool to get lost in the details of how your renewed life would look and feel.

I honored Easter this year by decluttering my closet, bathroom. I am still amazed at how energy is stored in our clutter. It is no coincidence our homes and lives feel lighter when we declutter. Using the momentum of purging, I decided to end the day with a bath. I set the intention to manifest the life I would like to live in these upcoming 6 months. I literally closed my eyes while in the bath and focused on the things I want. The same way we can plant a seed into the soil, we can plant ideas into becoming our reality. I hope that this new season of renewal brings forth transformation, healing, and a deeper understanding of our power as beings.
