There are travel experiences, and then there are experiences that etch themselves into your heart, ensuring you’ll never forget them. My recent adventure with Paradise + Vibe falls firmly into the latter category. With each trip the execution is nothing short of perfection, the destination, accommodations, and wonderful excursions. But it’s the farewell day in Tulum that stands out as a memory I’ll forever cherish.

 

The day began with an early morning yin yoga class that was pure relaxation. I had the privilege of leading this session, and it filled my heart with an inexplicable happiness. The co-founder of Paradise + Vibe, Iana, graced my yoga class with her presence, closing it with heartwarming affirmations that left us all feeling fulfilled.

 

Following our yoga session, we gathered for breakfast and then embarked on a sacred sexuality workshop. I’ve always enjoyed learning new things, especially breathwork. The workshop leader, Taryn, guided us through breathwork techniques that left me over the moon.

 

For the farewell event we found ourselves on a catamaran, sailing over the crystal-clear waters of Tulum, cocktail in hand, and in the company of new friends. The experience was nothing short of exhilarating. Laughter and conversations flowed freely as we shared this moment in time.

 

As we approached the dock, I witnessed a contagious, childlike joy in the faces of those I had spent the past week with. People eagerly jumping off the boat and, sliding down the slide into the Mexican waves, dancing to the rhythm of the sea and a little bit of Future. If happiness could be visualized, it was right there on that unforgettable day.

 

Paradise + Vibe has a remarkable way of creating experiences that linger in your heart long after you’ve returned home. It’s been three weeks since the retreat has ended and I’m still reflecting. It’s a memory that will forever be etched in my heart, a day that encapsulated pure bliss.
