Meditate | 5-10 minutes
This first practice truly sets the tone for your day. Find a comfortable quiet space or in the comfort of your bed. Mediation allows you to nurture and develop an awareness of the mind-body connection. It reminds us that the only moment that exists is the ‘NOW’. This morning practice has allowed me to go through my day with more ease.
2. Move Your Body | Deep stretch or 15-30 min workout
Time to change into light workout gear. Find a favorite workout video of your choice and get into the groove of moving your body. It can be a restorative yoga workout, or a short HIIT Workout, or any workout you prefer. There is a misconception that a workout has to be extensive, and it doesn’t. Remember, 15 minutes of movement is better than no movement.
3. Eat a Wholesome Breakfast
Time to put the first meal of the day into your body. This is personally my favorite meal of the day. I take this opportunity to incorporate wholefoods into my breakfast. What do I mean by whole foods? I’m glad you asked, foods that are not processed and/or minimally processed before being consumed. This includes, Fruits, vegetables, grain, but is not limited to organic meats and fish. Get creative, but most importantly, Enjoy!!!
